I need to replace the Mini USB connector used to charge the device. Someone had tried to plug up a larger charger from another Kindel device and it damaged the USB connector. Seems to be too large to keep the charger cable connected to charge the device.
jbooraem , here is a good video about the repair. The issues with that is the availability of the non-standard Micro B USB port. They are a bit costly, but available on ebay.com as well as a few other places.
