Hi where can i buy the logic board and home button, as it seems these two components are paired at factory level. but my board got some water damage and i have seen a guide on here that states i need to get a paired home button as well??? can anyone advise
Here’s an example on Aliexpress. You’ll need to do a bit of searching. At the prices being asked, IMHO I don’t think it’s a worthwhile expense but only you can determine that. If the water damage is localized, it may be fully repairable. There’s always a long-term risk with water damaged phones though and a lot of shops won’t fix them (only data recovery). It really depends on a lot of factors.
