We have HP Probook x360 11 EE at our school and I have a sticky space bar and the rest of the keyboard will not respond even if I hold the space bar up. So it seems my best choice is to replace the keyboard. I was hoping you might have a walkthrough available since it appears to me like I need to replace the entire keyboard, mouse and cover. Thanks
Hi @umpal40 , Here’s a link to the service manual for the HP Probook x360 11 EE which covers both the G1 and G2 models. Scroll to p.21 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the keyboard / top cover assembly. On p.20-21 you will find the part numbers for the various country specific keyboard / top cover assemblies. To find suppliers of the replacement part, search online by typing the appropriate part number only in the search box of your browser. If you wish to verify that you have the correct part number, usually the part number can be found printed or stamped somewhere on the underside of the keyboard / top cover assembly There is no specific service manual for the G3 model (or none that I can find), so hopefully the manual for the G1/G2 model will suffice and that the keyboard / top cover part number will be found on the underside of the assembly.
