Chosen Solution

Dear Experts, I promise I checked all answers in the forum but I couldn’t find what I’m looking for. In case I missed it please apologise and kindly send me the link. I want to replace the 500GB HDD of my a. m. iMac with a 1TB SSD (e. g. Samsung EVO or similar). I understand this isn’t trivial because of the propriatary thermosensor issue and also SW solutions to control the fans after upgrading isn’t a perfect solution. I want to fully replace the HDD and not create a dual hard drive system by replacing the optical drive with an SSD. I did this with my iMac 27" some years ago. This was ok but I would prefer a 100% SSD system this time. Is there in the meantime any hardware solution on the market managing the thermosensor issue and making my dream come true? E. g. somehting like a 3.5" mounting cage for the 2.5" SSD or another HW adapter where also the thermosensor can be connected and controlled w/o dependency on a fan control app which might not be compatible with the next OS update aanymore? Thank you very much for your appreciated advice and support. Cheers, Andreas
