I replaced the Screen and Digitizer full assembly. The touchscreen works because it will vibrate if I touch it. Nothing lights up on the screen. Any ideas?
Did you disconnect the battery prior to removing and installing the screen? Failure to do so can cause the backlight circuit to fail. Connect your phone to a charge and shine a bright light onto the screen. If you can see a dim image, then either the screen is defective or the backlight circuit was damaged. To be certain, re-connect the original screen. If it lights up, then you have a defective replacement screen. If it doesn’t, then you have damaged the backlight circuit on the logic board, This is fixable but requires a micro-soldering repair.
