The replacement screen comes with a new ear piece and front facing camera, do I replace them with the old parts from my broken screen or should I leave the new screen as is?
It is recommended to use parts originally came from your phone whenever possible, especially for Apple devices, which basically booby trap EVERY component that contains a chip. Also keep the parts in case a future software update messes up your phone.
Apple parts are usually of a higher quality level, thus It wouldn’t be a bad idea to move your old ones to the new screen if you purchased an aftermarket part. However that’s not necessary and you can give a try to the screen as it is if you want to save yourself some extra work.
