I have a 7 plus with the Intel radio chipset on T-Mobile but need to switch to Verizon. I know my phone doesn’t support cdma so I’m hoping to find out if the cdma radio exists as a replacement part and if so, if I can swap in the cdma capable radio for the current Intel gsm only radio.
It’s not as simple as switching out a chip. The iOS needs to convince the phone to allow it to accept and use the CDMA components in the phone. You likely also need to remove the Tmobile network locks.
