Does anybody know where I can get a replacement thunderbolt port for this? The one I have is broken off from the board and damaged internally so it needs to be replaced but can’t find the part anywhere.
Hi Unfortunately you can’t buy ports for this display so your only other option is to use one of the USB-C ports instead unless you have a donor board or can find a similar one I suggest you watch this video as it goes into more detail https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zVmZby7Mug… As they say in the video it’s quite common and you can’t buy replacement ports unfortunately If you could find a pin diagram you might be able to find a similar port and try and solder it down to the right pins but I wouldn’t try it unless your comfortable with these sorts of complicated repairs Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)
