Hi there, I’m looking to replace the screen on my HTC One (M7 version). I have read a couple of your guides, and I just want to confirm that I need something like this rather than something like this. Obviously, if I could do just fine with the cheaper product, I’ll take that, but that’s what I’m a bit uncertain of. Thanks for your help! Martin
It depends on the problem you’re display is experiencing. If the display is able to display a picture without any issues but does not respond to touch then you only need to replace the digitizer which is the cheaper part you listed. If the display does not display an image or if the image is distorted or has issues then the LCD is faulty and you will want the whole display assembly (LCD/digitizer) which is the more expensive part you listed above.
