I have an opportunity to get iPhone 5C replacement battery nearly for free. The caveat is it was manufactured somewhere in 2016 and now it’s 2018. Should I even bother doing the replacement? What is the risk the battery degraded over this time or is unusable?
It depends on how many cycles it has. If it’s new old stock, it will be fine. Try to enquire about how much use it’s seen.
