Chosen Solution
My iphone 4 got flushed down the toilet, and i (very stupidly) used it when it came out. It then died, So i took off the back, and put both pieces in a bag of rice, which i swapped for silica gel a week later. This was around 2-3 months ago. When i tried to turn it on, it was in a continuous boot loop. So i purchased a new battery which i fitted today. The phone turned on, was working fine, but the battery was only 36% when it came on, then it drained super fast. It then died, and hasn’t worked since! Can anyone help?
Emma, " I would definitely proceed with this guide even so it is for a 3G, it is still valid for your phone as well. The cleaning should eliminate any corrosion which may plaque your. Once its clean, you can reevaluate and see what happens. " Make sure you clean the dock connector as well, check for bend, broken and corroded pins as well.Hope this helps, good luck.
