Replaced the entire top case after a Coke Zero spill caused parts of the right side of the keyboard to quit working. Now, I still have a stripe of keys (8,9, U, I, K, L, ;) not working, and the power button doesn’t seem to want to turn the system on consistently. Should I be looking at replacing the trackpad, or is it more likely the logic board took damage I haven’t found. It looks clean and there were no signs liquid had penetrated beyond the keyboard.

Usually such a fault is at keyboard level. Were the same keys from before damaged? If not, and the new keyboard has a different set of faulty keys, then you got yourself a damaged replacement keyboard. In other words, I’d start by trying to rule out a faulty new keyboard before looking for something else.
