Chosen Solution
My HE3 dryer wouldn’t start this morning. I jumped the wires on the thermal fuse, and it started right up, so I got a new fuse, but it still won’t start. I jumped the wires again with the new fuse in place, and it started fine once again. Seems unlikely I would have gotten a bad fuse right out of the bag, but I can’t think of any other cause - what am I missing?
Fixed: was a fried control board. Replaced and all was well.
