Hello the phone was dropped hard , and the screen was damaged i replaced the screen , when i turned on the phone it shows a white and black screen just like the tv when you don’t connect anything with it
i thought the damage was in the screen itself , but when i tried to get it in the downloading mode ( by pressing power + volume down and home ) , the screen worked fine it shows the mode without any error in colors or characters or anything
i tried to restart it when it shows the downloading mode , but when i press volume down it won’t restart , and stay the same screen what could be the problem ? is it software? should i try to install Rom ? or hardware from the screen ? thank you
If you are lucky it’s just the firmware (specifically in the bootloader area) is corrupt in this case you will need to reflash the firmware via ODIN (You may need to factory reset in the recovery menu too if it still does not boot). Sometimes the flash will fail via ODIN meaning that the memory chip on the board may have been physically damaged (cracked / solder balls under the chip losing connection).
