Hi all, ran into a weird issue when replacing my screen today. Once powering back on with the new screen connected the phone lights up great, but after being unlocked will cut to a black screen. I tried cleaning the terminals and reconnecting them a few times but it makes no difference. Upon plugging the old screen back in everything works fine. I’ve also hard restarted the phone several times. Thoughts on what could be causing the issue? Iphone 8+
If the original screen works fine, then you have an issue with the replacement screen. It could be a low quality part or simply defective/damaged.
