replaced my iPhone 5 screen and the touch screen isn’t working properly, all parts work but sometimes it thinks I’m still pressing down, pressing in a different place or doesn’t swipe properly
Re-install your old screen (assuming it was cracked but functional). If the old one works, then you likely have a bad replacement screen.
Its a common issue for iPhone OEM replacement screens to have touch faults similar to this. I would first try testing all your connector to ensure that they are all in correctly then try again. If this doesnt work then you will need to order a new screen
