So I replaced my screen because my digitizer stopped working but now the front camera doesn’t work nor does the phone call speaker also the digitizer acted up once since I installed it. I opened the phone back up to make sure everything was still connected at the logic board and it was. Is the part defective or something else? Thanks for the help guys! P.S. I completely whipped the phone when it first started acting up and that didn’t fix it so that’s how I know the digitizer was bad
Did your replacement screen come with the front camera and sensors pre-installed? If so, you may have received a bad replacement part. Try putting back the old screen assembly to see if it solves the front camera issue. If you transferred the flex over from your previous screen, you may have damaged the flex during the repair. Take a close look at the flex to see if it is torn. If it is, you will need to replace it.
