Solved Replaced Screen As Was Cracked Now No Image Just White Light Iphone 6S Plus

HI, Need help. I have replaced the screen on iphone 6splus with the kit on ebay as it was cracked with black dots on it. However when replaced, i noticed the black (which i presume is a sticker) wasnt provided? is this normal? its on the front screen. So when its off, you can see the glass silver look instead, rather than the screen going ALL BLACK. Any reason? Also theres no image, so is this related? When its on, i can hear sound, but no image, just white light. ANy help? Thanks

Sounds like a low quality aftermarket screen if it has the silver reflective finish on the screen. The last time I had this was when buying cheap iPhone 4 screens from last year. Also probably a bad screen, does the old screen still have display? Make sure to unplug battery prior to plugging or unplugging ribbon cables if you didn’t know already.

You definitely got a low quality part. You can buy good quality repair parts from iFixit or a number of other places such as Mobile Sentrix, Injured Gadgets, Revamp Wholesale, eTrade Supply etc. White light usually means the backlight is fine, but the LCD itself is no good.
