Was having issues with phone charging. Would have to wiggle the cable around until I found a spot that would charge and if I move the cable it would disconnect. So I replaced the connector, the audio jack works and speaker works though nothing happens now when I try to charge. Also replaced the battery at the same time.
Hard to say. Likely one of these parts is not working. What you’re going to have to do, is exchange them, and find which one is the problem. Lucky thing is, guessing because you changed them both out, you wanted them both to be changed. If you had a voltmeter, you could determine if the battery was the issue
Also dry fit the new lightening connector before you install it, connect the connector to the motherboard and lay the lightening connector to the right of the phone and plug in using original apple charger. This way you can make sure the phone is charging and working before you go through the work of the install only for it not to work.
Probably a stupid question considering the forum, but 19/20 of our customers looking to replace the charging port only have dusty/filthy ports. Have you tried cleaning your original charging port with a tweezer?
