Hi, my laptop had liquid damage that caused the keyboard pyboard to be always on cap lock and as if the shift key was always engaged. So I got the new keyboard. And replaced it today but when rebooted it still didn’t work. What is the next step? What else could be wrong?
Check the trackpad cable and the trackpad connector on both areas of where they connect. Sometimes the cable connector gold pins on the black ribbon flex itself can get corroded from liquid damage and needs to be replaced.
