Hi! I replaced display assembly on my phone last night (ifixit rocks). Everything seems to be good except the phone speaker no longer works–I can only hear calls if I put them on speaker phone. Any Ideas? I suspect that maybe I didn’t get the digitizer cable installed correctly… though I’m pretty sure I did. Perhaps the display I got is defective? Anyone else have this issue?
Sounds like the logic is not properly seated with the ear speaker prongs making contact on the board. I suggest reinstalling the logic board make sure the top of board fits in the slot at the top of the housing.
