Chosen Solution
I can tell this subject has been beaten to death, but I can’t find one that addresses my particular issue. After replacing the digitizer, the backlight turns on every time, but only for a second. So the backlight works - but it won’t stay on. I’ve done all the reset tricks, disconnected battery 5 hours, etc., but the backlight only pops on for a moment (But it will turn on every single time). Any ideas?
The back light IC needs to be replaced on the motherboard which requires micro soldering. This is a known issue with iPad mini’s that have a lot of damage or if the battery connector wasnt disconnected during repair.
