So i replaced the d-pad and shoulder buttons, but now my top screen lights up with no image, i tested it and the controls still work, so i think it could be the ribbon cable, which one connects the top screen?
Hi! Try reconnecting the top-screen ribbon cable. While at it, look for any visible dents, bends or scratches.
It sounds like when you put it together you may have forgotten to connect one of the ribbon cable strips for the top screen it happens to us sometimes too! Not to worry it just needs to be reconnected if it doesnt let us know we will be glad to help you any way we can!
