I have just replaced a cracked screen on the iPad mini 2. It turns on but does not react to any touch commands. Have taken back off, reset plug and put back on. Same thing happening. Please advise….thanks!
This could be just a bad digitizer. If you purchased this unit off ebay or amazon, it is most likely a cheap product. If you have followed all the steps on ifixit on how to replace your digitizer and you still have no touch, it is most likely a bad digitizer. Did you have touch capability with the original broken glass? Buying quality parts are worth the price.
