I have a iPhone 5C that was working perfectly but would not charge…. I restored it and no luck…. i replaced the charging port… still no luck… then i thought its the battery…. so i changed it… still no luck.. any ideas?

Worst case scenario is that the Charging IC is at fault. Charging IC chip can be testing by using this scenario:

  • Have a DC Bench power supply turned on, set to 2.0A and 3.7V.
  • Have the adapter to plug into power supply and iPhone 5s / 5C battery connector. Attempt to turn on the iPhone 5C. If it boots, plug in the phone charging cable and see if it says charging. Then unplug battery while charger is plugged in. If it stays on then charging IC is OK. If not, charging IC needs to be replaced.

Hi, Check the connectors and see if its a board problem. Also, have you replaced the parts with known high-quality parts or genuine apple parts?
