I replaced the charging dock on my iphone 3GS now it charges!!!!Yea….. However I must have done something wrong because now I have no service. Help What have I done wrong? Maybe a connector is damaged or not connected wrong? Which connector controls the service? Help!!!
Alan may be referring to Connector #7, make sure this is correctly and securely connected to logic board. Also make sure the two copper (gold) pins are touching the metal bezel. Also make sure the screw tabs of the Dock Assembly are on top of the Bezel screw holes. Also is your Sim Tray sliding in perfectly as it did before? Some new Docks come with bad antennas, you may need to transfer your old antenna, if the above steps do not help.
Did you forget to connect the little piece that comes from the loud speaker and connects to the logic board?
