2001 Oldsmobile Alero - my blower fan was only working on the highest 2 settings I replaced the resistor block and now it’s only working on the highest setting does anyone know why this might have happened or what could b wrong?
When the resistor goes its usually on the high settings if more than one works its usually the switch on the control that needs replacing . If it was the resistor and it went as soon as you installed it you need to replace the motor. Hope this helps
pizon if the replacement of the resistor made it worse, double check your work and, if everything checks out, replace it once more.
