touch screen doesn’t work after replacing battery. Tiny screws may not be in the right place but everything else works

If you put the wrong screw in it can damage the motherboard and cause touch not to work. It’s called long screw damage. Look down the screw holes and see if you see copper. I believe the long screw is on the top right spot. You can try checking the connections and make sure they are tight and clean. Clean the connection with alcohol Update (07/03/2020) It could be the tristar ic which controls charging and data transfer. Take it to a repair shop and have them test it, it only takes a couple of minutes and they usually won’t charge you for it.
