Hi All, I’m in the middle of a matte LCD replacement on a 15" unibody. I am about to remove the LCD but I know that the white plastic apple on the back of the top lid is cracked badly. Can this plastic piece be replaced or do I need to purchase a new top lid? If it can be replaced, would anyone please point me to a part number or a link to order a replacement? Thanks very much. Sadly, there is no part # for the Apple logo alone. The complete lid or the shell is the only way Apple supplies it. With that said … You might be able to locate a dead display with a good lid with logo which you can put your good LCD in - Two half’s can some times make a whole ;-}
