Hi Can I replace original M.2 SSD with something like SSD 960 EVO NVMe M.2 1TB ? Will it work at all? And can it support the speed of storage? original is 500 MB/s write and reed, and on link is 1900 write and 3200 read MB/s. Thanks

Sadly, no. Apple uses a different physical interface from the M.2 SSD products you can buy from Samsung. While many of the SSD’s Apple uses are made by Samsung they are OEM. There is a 3rd party that does make a compatible SSD OWC - SSD Upgrades for MacBook Pro with Retina Display 13" & 15" Late 2013, 2014, & 2015. Or, you’ll need to find a used unit on eBay which can be a bit of a gamble.

Yes you can with this adapter: http://eshop.sintech.cn/ngff-m2-pcie-ssd… but only Linux or Windows installer will detect the drive. MacOS doesn’t support NVMe for OS booting at the moment.. maybe in future.
