Phone was dropped and works perfectly except for the screen. The screen looks normal sometimes and then these lines show up and makes it kinda hard to see pictures. Took it to one place and told me it was the board and the connection. Another said it was the screen. I wanted to go and make sure I’m paying for the fix first time. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hey Alex I agree with the second place you took it to, this is the LCD failing not the Logic Board. If the Logic Board was to blame, your iPhone would have issues starting, entering the passcode, and other basic functions. The LCD panels are easy to fix and you can buy them on iFixit for a pretty fair deal. You will need the kit iFixit sells to open the phone if you don’t have one already but its definitely fixable.
