Chosen Solution

Hi, I see on iFixit that the screen is the same between iPhone 5S and iPhone SE. I am looking to replace my screen but I find no seller for “iPhone SE screen”. So I bought a screen for iPhone 5S on a merchant site. Will it be compatible? Or not necessarily ? Thanks in advance !

Completely interchangeable. However don’t forget to transfer the original home button over.

I have tried three 5S screens from different suppliers on the SE and they all had display issues, Lines of pixelated. Tested all screens on a 5S and they were perfect……

You pretty much have to use oem parts for the 5s parts to be interchangeable. Otherwise the refurbished ones out there tend to make the screen shaky and give off all sorts of graphical glitches.

I have read that they have the same display, you can buy a iPhone 5S display and put this on iPhone SE.

they can share the same LCD screen except the home button, i found this iphone se lcd screen http://www.etradesupply.com/apple-iphone

I have changed displays on iphone SE. Copy screens had all kinds of errors, interlaced picture, colors are bleeding out from app icons and moving around alittle. Original 5S screen worked fine, but now 2 days afterwards a customer contacted me that the lighting is off, and sometimes the touch stops working. So she will be back this monday. Odd thing tough, when I removed the broken screen, there were no Apple logo on the flex cabels connecting the lcd&touch to the mainboard in the phone. instead there were 4 dots in a squared form. looked like a copy screen basicly.
