Hello, my screen was cracked and now it is unresponsive, the macbook works perfectly when connected to an external monitor. My question is, can i use a screen or a panel from a macbook pro 13.3” from 2016 and later to repair my macbook? I have a friend that can give me a screen since his laptop isn’t working, i thought about this since the M1 MBA has a wide D3 gamut as the older macbook pros
Hi I wouldn’t think it would work as most if the time the screens are tweaked between generations to prevent just what you are wanting to do I also believe the shape of the display is different too! So I wouldn’t try this one just in case it damages anything Hopefully this answers your question Thanks:-)
