Chosen Solution
My console YLOD and I repaired it as per the instructions, but it only worked for a few days.I fixed it again and again it YLOD. Is this common and is there a fix for this or should I give up on the machine?
Unfortunately, no YLOD (or RROD) fix can be 100% guaranteed unless you actually go through and re-ball the processor to the motherboard, which is a very difficult procedure. Some YLODs come back after a couple of days, some stay away for months, and some never come back. We sell what we feel is the best kit to fix the majority of issues, with no guarantee that it will provide a permanent solution.
