How do i repair the electric cord for this Steam iron. what tool so i need to open the back screw giving me access to the cord?

The screw on mine - different model but still B&D - is a tamper-proof one, slotted with a ridge in the middle. Either buy one or make your own out of a regular flat blade screwdriver.
