I have a Toyota Corolla XRS 2006 Which has around 180 000kms on it. The engine light turned on so I took it to a mechanic and he told me that the error code was P2440 which was for the air injection valves near the motor. I looked around the internet and saw that there were ways to fix it but not a detailed enough one for me to follow. I have mechanical experience but I would like to try and fix it.

Also try poking around for solutions to P2441. The only difference between P2441 and P2440 is that in the P2440 the SVS is stuck open instead of closed.
