i dont know if anyone can help me on here. iphone 5s water damaged.. i cleaned it properly. it worked but:: 1 sucks alot of power (battery draining fast) 2 every 5 seconds of use it gives a warning. " temperature too hot cool down before use" .. i can touch the motherboard and feel that its on normal temperature not hott.. solutions as per my experience: battery draining fixed by replacing u2 ic. any solutions for temperature too hot warning, any ideas where to look on motherboard for this.. thanx in advance..
First don’t repair liquid damaged phones if you can. They’re a nightmare and keep coming back for various issues. Second, try a new battery. A known good battery of great quality or at least different source from the one you have in there if you already replaced it. If that doesn’t fix it, and you still experience fast battery depletion, heat, and still see this message, then you have a short somewhere. This short may be producing heat and activating this temp warning message. If you see the message without heat, then one of the heat sensing resistors on the board was damaged from the liquid spill.
