Hi everyone, So I am a noob in repair so i need some help. I have two iphone 6 from my family i will be happy to fix them. They fell in swimming-pool so they did not stay more than 45 sec or 1 min in water. (I do not know exactly it is a long time ago like 6 months) I will begin to fix which fell in W.C. So the process to fix: 1)Dissassembly and look for corrosion 2)After put them (but which parts?) in alcohol 90% 3)Let it 3-5 hours to dry it 4)Assembly 5)Try to turn on 6)If it is not turning on,try to a new battery and lightning connector and maybe screen (which is the best order to replace?) 7)If nothing helps so it is the motherboard so it is dead? I add some pictures because I do not see corrosion so I do not know which part first to replace because the corrosion…

So I put here the process if someone can tell me advices I am a noob. And also the 3 questions I have I will be happy to receive advices. Thanks in advance.

You need to remove the shields to get to the corrosion .Clean every connection with a soft toothbrush. As well clean the logic board; use a 99% isopropyl alcohol for all cleaning. Now is the time to start drying out the phone. Set the screen in a desiccant or silica gel leave it in for several days moving it from time to time to get the max effect from the desiccant.Dont use rice ! Use a blow dryer on a low heat setting to dry the rest of the phone. Only use a hair dryer once you have cleaned the phone completely with the alcohol. Do not attempt to dry the phone if it’s still wet with water with the blow dryer as this only spreads the water. Replace the battery with a new one considers the old ones done. Clean again with isopropyl alcohol let dry and when you think everything is clean and dry reassemble the phone (make sure to clean the contacts on the screen after removing from the desiccant). Once you’ve reassembled the phone it’s time to power it on. Hold your breath and hope for the best

Put the logic board in alcohol and get a new toothbrush, if you see corrosion brush it off gently. Peel off the black sticker where the power and touch ics are. Post pictures of the motherboard if anything looks not right.

19/05 UPDATE Guys Today I tried to get the logic board out but in some steps I can’t do it, the screws are so broken I am screwing for nothing… I use a philips 0.2mm but the screws doesn’t move.

In all this pictures from the tutorial almost all the reds are not moving and I am feeling it is going worse… I thought it was my screwdriver that is broken but for the others it is working I thinks its the screws themselves that are broken 1)An advice? Another questions I have 2 iphone 6 fell in water. So I thought if i can “fusion” the best parts of each one to get one good iphone 6? For example in the first picture we see how the battery is not good.d but the second iphone his battery is looking very well…

Another question this a way to test each parts if it s working separatly without dissassembly another iphone? Because i see this battery it is looking good,In the logic board I will see later, the screen and the lightning connector I don’t know how to test them… 2)An advice?

My iPhone 6plus fell into water and it not switching now it make hot when it on charge

As it fall in water it does not mean it got corossion. Most of the logic board part are not made from aluminium or silver or copper. So corrosion is not seen on your board. Only iron got corode fastly. As your phone under water around 1 minute and it is power on condition so there are many lcd circuit channel shorted and many of ic cheap also got short and dead. so chances of fullly repairing of iphone is very less. You should turn of your iphone as soon as it drop in water. Once water entered inside the iphone and touches logic board that means it is dead.
