I went to the local repair shop and he tried replacing the LCD with a new one but it doesn’t boot up. He also tried to connect it to iTunes but it didn’t recognize it. Maybe he just don’t know what he’s doing or doing it on purpose to scam me. Or maybe he doesn’t know that iTunes will not recognize the phone when it’s locked. Our local repair shops are famous for being scammers and overpricing because they know people that go to them has no clue with the phones hardware. My iPhone got no display but I can feel it boot because I can click the home button when it’s done booting. I can also get it to recovery mode and iTunes recognize it. The repair shop I went to said It’s a dead unit and has something to do with the U2 IC. Is it really the IC or is it a scam. I can feel it boot and I can turn it to recovery mode and iTunes recognizes. Help.

You’ve got too many variables here and you need to whittle it down. If the phone boots with your original screen and is recognized by iTunes, then it’s probably not a Tristar issue. If the phone doesn’t boot with the replacement screen, then it’s probably a replacement screen issue. Has the shop tried multiple screens? At this point, find another shop and see if you have the same problem, otherwise, order a high quality replacement screen and try it yourself.
