Just bought new screen replacement from ifixit for iphone XR. Followed guide, now putting back together There is a transparent purple plastic film on back of new screen, fairly loose. Do I leave it in, or take it out? Thanks!
You can do whatever. It’s just a thin film of plastic designed to protect the back of the LCD during shipping. I’d recommend taking it off, but you do you.
