T/S progress so far: New battery and several different remote control - same result
- can control with wall switch but remote more than two feet away does not work - works within one to two feet.
- suspect receiver circuit in opener - maybe front end not working. can’t find schematics to get in deeper and replace failed component. Any help appreciated.
Check your drive unit (on the ceiling). See if there is a small wire hanging down from it. That is the receiver’s antenna. If the wire is there, be sure it is attached. Some models don’t have an exposed antenna. http://ep.yimg.com/ty/cdn/linear-access-…
