Hello All.!! I have a serious issue that is plaquing my family. My Ge ( model# GSHS5AKGXBCSS) refrigerator is on the blink. The fridge is not cooling , yet the drawers are ice cold even freezing produce. My freezer temp is also warm. I replaced the start relay for the compressor with no luck. However I don’t think it’s the compressor cause of the drawers. PLEASE HELP!!!!
Aaron, i can help if you can answer these questions. Is the condenser fan by the compressor and the evaporator fan inside running but the compressor ISN’T? If both fans are running and the compressor isn’t than the problem is the main control board. Is the compressor running but the fans aren’t ? Is the compressor hot to touch? Do you notice any frost anywhere? Check in both sections- the back wall, ceilings and door gaskets for ice or frost. Do you have water under the crispers or on floor? Are you getting any error codes on the display?
