I changed my lightning connector with an OEM lightning replacement. Everything works but my now my cellular reception is reduced. I can still make calls/texts, but my reception is not what it used to be. Any thoughts?
There is a grounding flex around the headphone jack, a piece of the cellular antenna over the speaker, a connecting washer on the rightmost screw hole of the speaker, which should be clamping the antenna, The RF cable has to be firmly plugged in, and the foam sticker pressed on top of it. Make sure there are properly installed Maybe the bottom antenna is totally not working, the phone will still work on the top antenna, but as you said, it is not as good as before.
