Chosen Solution
So i got this Ipad mini 2 from a client, just said it wouldn’t work. Opened it up and could see water damage in the upper left by the connectors for the digitizer and lcd. Cleaned it up with alcohol. Installed a new LCD and Digitizer. Comes on works. But these red dots are on the screen… I installed another new LCD same red dots in the same area.
That’s a manufacturer stamp, you left the protective film on the LCD. Unfortunately you will have to remove the glass again :(
