sorry my english poor :( I have two failed iPad Air. One is booting normally, but the iCloud locked. (Hereafter, “X ipad”.) The other one does not have an iCloud lock, but can not boot. (Hereafter, “Y ipad”.) It is a completely black screen. Only dfu mode entry is possible, but recovery has failed in any way. “X iPad” is an LTE model, and a “Y iPad” is a wifi model. So I want to move the parts from the “Y iPad” to the “X iPad”. I want to know what parts to move. I heard that NAND and WIFI IC should be moved, but are there any other parts that need to be moved? I have BGA soldering skill and equipment.
You would have to move also the EEProm and of course the SOC (Cpu). Good luck with the job, hope you will succeed, not an easy task.
There’s a resistor (r1506 on a1475)you can remove from the LTE ipad that will disable LTE and make it Wifi only but it’ll bypass the icloud lock. That would be your best course of action imo
