Instructions say to reverse disassembly steps. Step in question says to “flip up the retaining flap on both of the ZIF connectors securing the headphone jack cable to the logic board … Pull the headphone jack assembly cable straight out of its socket on the logic board.” How do I push the cable ends back under the retaining flaps? They do not slide back under easily and I do not want to damage the cable.

Ah the digitizer touch screen ribbon cable, I use a bit of masking tape to guide it into the ZIF connector slot. You can alternatively use your nail on the wavy line indent which you should see on the cable to push it in. Don’t push down on the cable of course so you don’t pinch it.
