Hey, I replaced the battery of an iPhone SE about two weeks ago. The iPhone worked great after replacement. But now, after two weeks of use, the iPhone wont boot to homescreen. Its stuck at the Apple logo. What Ive down to repair it: I have set the iPhone in recovery mode and tried to reload and install iOS 12. But now the iPhone starts, display shows the Apple logo, turns off, and starts again. I also tried older os versions but still the same. Can anyone help? Could the new battery be the problem? Thank you! Christian
I would certainly suspect the battery, it is the weakest link in the chain. If you still have your old battery and it still worked, I would try installing it to see if the problem goes away. If you have access to a multimeter, you could also measure the voltage directly on the replacement battery to see if it is charged or not. A phone should boot with a battery as low as 3.2V, maybe even a bit less. If you have less than 3V, then either your battery is bad or there is an issue with the charge circuit (cable, brick or logic board).
