Chosen Solution

Suddenly, after 1 year and 6 months since its purchase, my phone stopped working properly. I was pressing the power off button to unlock the screen, but it didn’t work…after a while it opened by its own and I was able to use it properly but I couldn’t lock it again! After that, the phone started rebooting without stop! I managed to reset it by the settings but it didn’t get any better. Battery is charging properly and the percentage of it is the right one. Is there anything I can do? Can you make any guess what’s going wrong? Is it fixable or I should start mourning on my Huawei? Thanks :)

  1. download the firmware by below link http://consumer.huawei.com/en/mobile-pho…
  2. Copy it to SD card and rename the folder to DLOAD
  3. Boot to recovery mode : Vol down + power
  4. Update the firmware Note : data will be lost

The link for the firmware in Buddhika Mahesh post appears to be working now. If you still can’t get it to download try the link below, it is a direct link to the zip file from Huawei. Android 4.2,Emtion UI,V100R001C00B111,General Version (Newest Version) This is the previous release if you would rather try it instead. Android 4.2,Emtion UI,V100R001C00B107,General Version (Previous Release) Download one of these and then complete steps 2-4 from Buddika’s post.

I followed all the steps to update my Huawei G610-U20 from sd card, but my phone doesn’t see update.app file when I select the dload folder. Can anybody help me with this?

I’ve trying to reboot my huawei Y600 even using hard reset is not working.

huawei phones are $@$*!& i would not advice anybody to be using dem phones. They need to revamp their development and hardware.

Same problem in Huawei Ascend Y540 Phone.

I have exactly the same problem. I tried to put my phone in the fridge over night (dont ask me why) and guess what. The phone started up just fine! But Im only able to launch one single app. If I try to start more than one app it crashes. And if i reboot the phone it will go into bootloop again. It start up again if i leave it in the fridge for more than 5 hours. Weird.
