Hello So about 3 months ago I changed the battery on my iphone 8. Everything was working fine for 2 months and then it stopped charging. Since the new battey was faulty I got a new one. I turned on the phone while it was open, just to get some photos on my computer, turned it off, disconected the battery and set the phone aside till a new seal for the screen arrived. I then put the phone together and now is on a bootloop and it won’t connect to any computer. I tryed everything the internet has to offer. I just can’t get it out of the boot loop and for it to connect to a computer.
Sorry for my bad english.
If you are sure the battery is okay the next thing to rule out would be the top flex. See if it boots with it disconnected. If it still boot loops you have probably caused some pry damage around the connector or to the connector itself. Make sure the connector pins are not pushed into the plastic. The most common problem for the 8 after a screen or battery change is nudged components. You will need to examine the area under some magnification. If the pins on the connector look alright it will defiantly be one of the other components.
If they have been nudged you will need a reputable repairer to fix the problem as it will require microsoldering and maybe some jumpers installed.
This could mean either two things, or you have yet another bad battery, or you have a damaged logic board. If it’s possible I would contact the store again where you bought the battery and go for a refund and buy a better quality battery elsewhere. Also double check if all the connectors are seated correctly, because if the battery isn’t properly being detected you can also end up in a bootloop.
First thing to try is a new battery, put a new battery first. You got to rule things out and this is the first step.
