Hi everyone, so today I put together my first PC and was very surprised to see that I put it all together right the first time around. Now I am stuck on getting the windows 10 installer to work. I can get to the bios and select the usb drive but it ends up just saying “reboot and select proper boot device” some things to note are that I downloaded the windows 10 installer from a Mac idk if that affects anything cause I followed the steps online, but also I’m not sure what settings I have to change if any in the bios in order to get it started. Also do I need to update the drivers before I install windows or does it matter? Here are my parts: msi b450-A PRO max ryzen 5 2600x msi 1070ti duke kraken liquid cooler corsair 650 watt psu 256 gb ssd 2 rn barracuda any help would be appreciated

Congratulations on setting up your first PC. For the Windows Install download on a PC and set up as a bootable USB. Mac’s uses different formats than PC’s. For booting you will see your USB drive listed, what ever brand it is. Select that one. If you want a local account on your computer do not connect to the Interent while installing Windows.
